WiP Wednesday

am a genetically and astrologically programmed finisher. I love thinking up new projects and gathering materials. But once a project is underway, it’s all about gettin’ er done.

Inspired by dear friends and recent events (more about that coming soon), I am initiating my WiP Wednesday (Works in Progress). A blog day dedicated to savoring the raw, exposed ends, wrong side, unfinished beauty of the process of creating.
This is a cardigan in progress made with Nash Island Fog Yarn. My inspiration for what to do with all the little odds ‘n ends bits of test dye lots that have accumulated in the studio.
What are you working on this Wednesday?

I love this! Will it stripe the whole way or will you transition to a solid? And I love the fabric backdrop for showing it off too. Can't wait to see more of your WiP's.

This is a stunner! It will be a joy to watch it's progress on WiP Wednesdays. Now you've got me dreaming about what to do with my Nash Island Fog.

I tried to comment on my ipad on Wednesday, but it wouldn't stick. I am looking longingly at the pile of Fog in my workspace, and waiting for the right project. I want to knit something with it, but I also need to write up the Cove sweater, which I think should be named the September House sweater. I'll send out a draft for anyone interested in test knitting. In Nash Island yarn, of course.

OMG that is stupendous and very similar to what i'm envisioning to do with my 10 or so skeins of every color of Fog! but in crochet. not sure yet if it'll be a cardi or pullover, and i was thinking uneven stripes but now seeing yours i love the one-row stripes too… and i LOVE seeing WIP's. might steal this idea for my blog too…
